Somewhere very late in the 2012 Boston Marathon – I can’t be sure where as I was no longer coherent – a belligerent drunk girl angrily berated my fellow walkers and me.  “This is the Boston f*ing marathon, the greatest marathon in the world!  Show some respect and run!  Jog it out!!  Jog it the f*ck out!

Thus. JITFO was born.

Allen ran track and cross-country at the University of North Carolina in the early '80's. Now he can be found running road races in and around the Charlotte area. JITFO is now a well known team (and saying!) around the Queen City. Allen and a few JITFO friends won the first ever, 2015 Cooper River Bridge Run Team Competition. He and his wife Laura co-founded the Triple C Beer Runners who meet weekly at 6:30pm on Thursday nights in Historic South End.
